About the Project
The Cherokee Casino Project is being completed in several different phases. Tower 2 consists of 288 squares of metal standing seam roof on the Porte-cochère. 42 squares of American Hydro tek paver patios on the 25th floor, and 337 squares of Sika-Sarnafil 0.60 with 2 different custom color membrane. This area was the most difficult as it was split up into 19 different roof areas at 17 separate levels. Along with 55 tons of concrete pavers that needed to be moved to the rooftop.
The 2B portion of the project is a still ongoing with over 1500 squares of re roofing and over 700 squares of new construction with 0.60 batten custom color Sarnafil. This phase is showing presents much different challenges with schedules and timing due to the fact the re- roof is located over live gaming areas with exposed ceilings and high parapet walls on all four sides. The tear off potion starts at 3 am and is made up of a 14 man crew making nightly 2 ply asphalt seals with great results.
